Karachi: Six accused arrested in street crime and robbery
He said that suspects Rehan and Gul Zaman were arrested at Maskan Chowrangi.
KARACHI (Dunya News)- Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested six suspects while taking actions in different areas of Karachi on Wednesday.
CTD told that suspects were involved in motor cycle lifting, street crimes and robbery. Arrested suspects also used to rob citizens after their cash transactions from banks.
CTD Incharge Chaudhry Safdar said that accused used to do criminal activities in the form of two groups comprising of nine members.
He said that suspects Rehan and Gul Zaman were arrested at Maskan Chowrangi.
He further told that suspects used to escape to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after every robbery but fortunately they were caught with the help of CCTV footage.
“Suspects have been involved in more than 100 motor cycle lifting”, said CTD In charge.
He said that they used to sell the stolen motorbikes from 15k to 20k in Bela, Baluchistan.
Further investigation is in progress with suspects, he added.
