Polio worker injured in Quetta firing incident
The polio worker received injuries on her face after being hit by a bullet
QUETTA (Dunya News) – Unknown armed assailants wounded a polio worker in an attack in eastern bypass area of Quetta on Wednesday.
According to police sources, the victim Ghazala was on his way to administer anti-polio drops to children in the area along with her sister, when armed outlaws riding a motorcycle opened fire at them, resultantly, Ghazala sustained injuries while her sister managed to save herself.
She was rushed to local hospital for medical assistance.
According to doctors, the polio worker received injuries on her face after being hit by a bullet.
Police cordoned off the area and collected evidence, while further investigation is underway.
