Police foil bid of underage marriage
The police conducted the raid to arrest the Nikah solemnizer (Nikah Khawan).
SADIQABAD (Dunya News) – Police took action on Tuesday and foiled the underage marriage of couple in a town of Sadiqabad.
As per details, police reached the ceremony and stopped the wedding of two kids, 7-year-old groom and 12-year-old bride.
The police have arrested the Nikah solemnizer (Nikah Khawan) as well as relatives present at the ceremony.
Police have registered first information report (FIR) against the families and Nikh Khawan.
