SHO captures assailant bravely in armed attack in Rawalpindi
Two police officers sustained critical injuries in the attack
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – At least two police officers sustained critical injuries on Wednesday following an armed attack on a police check post in the Imperial Market of Rawalpindi.
According to a CCTV footage obtained by Dunya News, City police station’s SHO Sultan Mahmood acted bravely and seized one of the assailants while his accomplice shot the officer multiple times.
However, he survived the attack while one bullet flew by his head.
Police officers including Amjad and Akhtar sustained critical injuries.
Meanwhile, police have started further investigation into the incident after arresting one of their accomplices identified as Fazul-ur-Rahman.
