Murdered girl in Karachi's Machar Colony was witness in mother's murder case
Reema's mother was killed over land dispute in Saeedabad last year.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police officers on Wednesday have prepared initial report of 16-year-old Reema’s killing and found that she was the only witness in her mother’s murder case.
Police officers said that Reema’s mother was killed over land dispute in Saeedabad last year while investigation into both cases has also been launched.
Earlier, Reema’s body with hands and mouth tied with a cloth was recovered from a water tank in Karachi’s Machar Colony.
The victim was alone at home when she suddenly disappeared. Her family members tried to find her when they noticed that the underground water tank’s cap was opened and girl’s body was floating on the surface of the water.
Getting information about the incident police officers arrived at the scene and said that everything will be cleared after medical report but there was no torture marks on the body. It seems that the girl lost life due to drowning in the water, they added.
