Karachi knife attacks: Police to consult psychiatrist over suspect's arrest
Additional Inspector General said he is hopeful to catch the attacker soon.
KARACHI (Daily Dunya) – In a wake of ongoing knife attacks on women in Karachi, investigation team has decided to take assistance of psychiatrist regarding the detention of the criminal.
The security personnel have failed to nab the real suspect despite tall claims for which they have now decided to look deeply into the matter to find out whether the suspect is playing some sort of game in which he is being given tasks.
The team will consult the psychiatrist after which a proper plan will be devised to arrest the culprit.
As many as 15 suspects including one important lead were kept under custody for interrogation in the bid to arrest Karachi knife attacker. Additional Inspector General said he is hopeful to catch the attacker saying they will soon announce good news.
He repeatedly assured Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah that the police will soon end the series of attacks which have spread fright among the women.
On the other hand, five more women were shifted to the hospital with severe injuries on Thursday.
