LAHORE (Dunya News) - Deputy Commissioner Sameer Ahmad Syed ordered E.D.O health to get information related to body parts’ transplantation from hospitals in Lahore.
He directed authorities to write letters to hospitals for the provision of details related to transplant operations for verification.
A session for inhibition of illicit transplantation of organs was conducted under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner who directed E.D.O health to restrict D.D.O for keeping a check on any illegality in this regard and report them immediately.
Later in the session, Deputy Commissioner also directed Chief Officer to ensure the prohibition of selling of any eatables by vendors within an area of 500 ft. from schools.
A proper check and balance about the information of nomads as well as people working in different factories was also instructed by the Deputy Commissioner.
