Fake medicine factory's owner, manager sentenced to eight years in prison

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Chairman Drug Court sentenced owner and manager of a fake medicine factory to eight years in jail along with fine of Rs 1.5 lac each.

According to details, two brothers Shahid Lodhi and Nasir Lodhi were running a fake factory in Kot Lakhpat who imitates medicines of famous pharmaceutical company.

On a tip-off received, the local drug inspector arrested the culprits and confiscated 35,000 fake pills.

Sources told that factory’s manager Jameel Anjum was also involved in fraud case.
