Dacoit couple arrested from Karachi, confess to robbery on gun point
Sohail and Lubna were using fake gun to rob people off their cash and valuables
KARACHI (Dunya News) -- Karachi police arrested a couple from Taimooria area on Thursday for snatching mobile phones and cash from citizens. The suspects were identified as Sohail and Lubna, reported Dunya News.
According to details, the criminal husband and wife used to snatch valuables from citizens on gun point, using a fake gun. The couple refused to confess anything initially and kept claiming that they were being robbed but Sohail, who was wanted in many other cases as well, confessed to his and his wife’s crimes during the investigation afterwards.
Sohail and Lubna are not a new example of criminal families that are knee deep in crimes and do not think about their or their children’s future. Sohail said that police is responsible for making him a criminal, as he was an employee at Karachi Municipal corporation (KMC)but he lost his job because of fake cases against him filed by police.
