COLOMBO (Dunya News) – India have defeated Pakistan by 88 runs in the ICC Women World Cup 2025.

Pakistan's entire team was bowled out for 159 runs in 43 overs. Sidra Amin remained the top scorer with 81 runs, Natalia Parvez scored 33, and Sidra Nawaz made 14 runs, while other players failed to reach double figures.

Batting first, India set a target of 248 runs for Pakistan in in the ICC Women’s.

Indian opening batters Pratika Rawal and Smriti Mandhana scored 31 and 23 runs respectively, while Harleen Deol played an innings of 46 runs which propelled her side to reach 247 runs.

For Pakistan, Diana Baig sent 4 players back to the pavilion, while Sadia Iqbal and Fatima Sana took two wickets each. Rameen Shamim and Nashra Sandhu took one wicket apiece.

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first against India at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Sunday.

Both captains did not shake hands during the toss.
