LAHORE (Web Desk) - The Pakistan and Bangladesh cricket boards have decided to remove ODIs from their upcoming bilateral series.
According to sources, the two teams, scheduled to face off in May, will not play any One Day Internationals. Instead, considering the upcoming T20 World Cup, both boards have mutually agreed to replace ODIs with T20 matches.
As per the original schedule, Bangladesh was set to play three ODIs and three T20Is in Pakistan. However, the revised schedule now includes five T20I matches.
Sources further indicated that Pakistan may tour Bangladesh outside the schedule to play a T20I series, with a three-match T20I series expected in July.
