AUCKLAND (Web Desk) – The New Zealand Cricket Board has announced its squad for the upcoming ODI series against Pakistan, with Tom Latham set to lead the team.

Notably, Pakistan-born cricketer Mohammad Abbas has been included in the squad. Abbas, originally from Pakistan, later moved to New Zealand with his family.

He is the son of Azhar Abbas, a former first-class cricketer from Pakistan, who has also represented Auckland and Wellington and currently serves as an assistant coach for Firebirds.

The New Zealand squad included Adithya Ashok, Michael Bracewell, Mark Chapman, Jacob Duffy, and Mitchell Hay, along with Nick Kelly, Will O’Rourke, Ben Sears, Nathan Smith, and Will Young.

Meanwhile, Mitchell Santner, Rachin Ravindra, Devon Conway, and Glenn Phillips will miss the series due to their IPL commitments.

The three-match ODI series between Pakistan and New Zealand will begin on March 29, with the remaining matches scheduled for April 2 and April 5.
