Pakistan name playing XI for first ODI against Australia

(Web Desk) – Pakistan on Sunday named playing eleven for the first One-day International (ODI) which will be played in Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Monday (tomorrow).
The team was selected by the tour selection committee.
The team includes Abdullah Shafiq, Saim Ayub, Babar Azam, Muhammad Rizwan (captain and wicket-keeper), Kamran Ghulam, Salman Ali Agha, Irfan Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf and Muhammad Hasnain.
Meanwhile, the team continued training sessions at the MCG for the second day on Sunday for the upcoming ODI series against Australia.
According the PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board), the players conducted rigorous fielding drills, with emphasis on improving defensive and catching techniques.
It may be recalled that Rizwan was named captain of Pakistan’s white ball team on October 28. It is his first series abroad as captain.
