HONG KONG (Dunya News) – Pakistan beat South Africa by 17 runs to qualify for the semi-final of Hong Kong International Sixes tournament on Saturday.

Pakistan set a target of 106 runs for South Africa as Muhammad Akhlaq made 53 runs while Hussain Talat scored 27.
In pursuit of the target, South Africa could score only 88 with Evan Jones remained top scorer with 41 runs.
Earlier, Pakistan on Friday defeated the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and India on the opening day of Hong Kong Sixes tournament.
In first match, the Team Green set a 129 runs target for the UAE, thanks to unbeaten opening partnership between Asif Ali, who made 50 runs, and Muhammad Akhlaq (52).
In pursuit of the target, the UAE made 115-6 in the six-over match as Muhammad Zuhaib made 53 runs for the side.
In second game, India set a target of 120 runs for Pakistan as Bharat Chipli made 53 runs while Robin Uthapaa scored 31.
Pakistan achieved the target in five overs as Asif Ali made 55, Muhammad Akhlaq 40 and Faheem Ashraf scored 22.
They helped their side to secure six-wicket win over arch-rival India in Hong Kong Sixes.
