WC: Sarfraz Ahmed hopeful for high scores by Pakistan batsmen.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Skipper Sarfraz Ahmed is hopeful for high scores by Pakistan batsmen in the World Cup 2019, Roznama Dunya reported on Thursday.
Sarfraz Ahmed believes that the Green Shirts have the potential not only to score 300-350 runs, but also to chase them as Pakistan have a deep batting lineup.
The captain said Shoaib Malik and Imad Wasim displayed good performances in the recent past, and Fahim Ashraf can unleash power-hitting towards the end.
Furthermore, Pakistan’s top order also looks in good shape with openers Fakhar Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq, followed by Babar Azam. It is worth mentioning here that all three of them have ODI batting average above 50.
