ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ehsan Mani said the best team has been picked for the World Cup 2019, Roznama Dunya reported on Thursday.
The PCB chief maintained that Pakistan team are confident for success in England. Ehsan Mani met Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser at the Parliament House.
The dignitaries held discussion regarding the World Cup 2019, the Inter-Parliamentary Cricket Tournament and other important affairs.
Asad Qaiser expressed best wishes for the national team and clarified that the government is taking steps to promote other sports as well.
Talking about the Inter-Parliamentary Cricket Tournament, he said the contest will endorse the cricket diplomacy by helping to develop good relationships between the parliamentarians of different countries who will participate in the competition.
The speaker thanked Ehsan Mani for PCB’s support in forming the Pakistan squad for the tournament and organizing a training camp.
