NEW DELHI (Dunya News) – India’s External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has ruled out the possibility of Pakistan-India bilateral cricket series due to the tension between both countries.

The minister seemed unwilling to hold the fixtures even at a neutral venue, and said the game is possible only after the relations get better.

It is worth mentioning here that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to play bilateral series, but the Indian government is not allowing its governing body to play with Pakistan.

India now play with Pakistan only in ICC events, and were thrashed by the Green Shirts by 180 runs in their last encounter in the Champions Trophy’s final.
