The Indian skipper trains himself very hard for fitness while being selective in eating and drinking

NEW DELHI (Web Desk) – During an interview with Indian media, it was revealed that the Indian skipper Virat Kohli only drinks mineral water. He only consumes bottled drinking water and pays a hefty amount for it.

Kohli is known for his fitness and it will not be an exaggeration to call him one of the fittest cricketers in international arena. The 28-year-old has worked very hard on his fitness and maintains his physique as well as the batting form which is why he is ranked in the top 10 ODI batsmen ranking.

Being the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore, he is known to be a little choosy when it comes to eating and drinking. Kohli only drinks mineral water and that too from water bottles which are imported from France, especially for him.

According to reports, the Delhi-born cricketer buys imported water bottles manufactured by a company named Evian. It costs him around $9-10 per litre.

He trains himself hard for batting in the intense heat and score piles of runs to his name. Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly previously told that Kohli once went to gym to exercise after batting for six hours straight. “It’s a way for him to score double and triple hundreds in Tests,” he stated.
