KARNATAKA (Dunya News) – Pakistan have beaten England in the second semifinal of Blind Cricket Twenty20 World Cup Saturday by 147 runs at Karnataka State Cricket Association Ground, Alur, and secured tenth consecutive victory of the tournament.
As per details, England won the toss and elected to bowl first. Pakistan openers once again gave green shirts a wonderful start and constructed a double-century opening stand.
Israr Hassan remained top scorer with unbeaten 143 runs, whereas, his partner Badar Munir registered 103 runs. Pakistan scored 309 runs for the loss of just one wicket in their 20 overs.
Amir Ishfaq was the only batsman who was dismissed in a run out on 26 runs. Mati Ullah remained not out on 20 with Israr Hassan. It is pertinent here to mention that Badar Munir was retired on 103.
In reply, England innings stumbled right from the beginning and kept on losing wickets. Matthew James Page was their top scorer with 41 runs.
England team could only manage 162 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. From Pakistan, Muhammad Zafar picked up two wickets.
It is also worth mentioning here that Pakistan will face arch-rivals India in the final on February 12.
