LAHORE (Dunya News) – National blind cricket team on Saturday left for India from Wagah Border to participate in Blind Asia Cricket Cup.

Captain Javed Anees stated that the players are enthusiastic in winning the title by defeating old rival.

Meanwhile, team manager Bilal vowed to make the nation happy by taking the cup to home.

Team members include Nisar Ali as the vice captain, Muhammad Ayaz, Sajid Nawaz, Muhammad Waqas, Amir Ashfaq, Zafar Iqbal, Muhammad Idrees, Badar Muneer, Zeeshan Abbasi, Haroon, Muhammad Akram, Sanaullah, Qazi Zeeshana and Zahid Mahmood.

The tournament would be played at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium from January 17 to 24 between India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
