DUBAI (AFP) - Australia closed the second day of the first Test against Pakistan on 113 without loss in Dubai on Thursday.

Openers David Warner and Chris Rogers were 75 and 31 not out after Pakistan scored 454 in their first innings.

Australia trail Pakistan by 341 runs.

Pakistan were lifted by a fiery 109 by Sarfraz Ahmed, Asad Shafiq s 89 and 69 by skipper Misbah-ul Haq.

For Australia, paceman Mitchell Johnson finished with 3-39 while spinners Steve O Keefe took 2-107 and Nathan Lyon 2-148.

The second and final Test will be played in Abu Dhabi from October 30.
