Summary Gold and silver prices decline in both local and international markets, with sharp reductions recorded in Pakistan over the past two days.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – A decline in gold and silver prices was recorded in both global and domestic markets on Saturday, according to the latest data from the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association.

In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs600, bringing it down to Rs476,262. Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold fell by Rs515 to settle at Rs408,317.

Silver prices also witnessed a downward adjustment. The rate of 24-karat silver per tola dropped by Rs159, reaching Rs8,073.

In the international bullion market, gold saw a modest decline of $6 per ounce, bringing the global rate down to $4,539.

Market representatives noted that within the last two days alone, the price of gold per tola in the domestic market has decreased by a significant Rs16,100, reflecting continued volatility in bullion trading trends.
