KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Pakistan Stock Exchange witnessed a strong recovery on Tuesday, with the market closing in positive territory after a significant decline in the previous session.

Trading began on a bullish note during the second business day of the week, as increased investor interest drove a sharp rally. The benchmark KSE-100 index surged by 3,105 points during early trading, reaching a high of 150,144 points.

However, some profit-taking towards the end of the session trimmed gains, with the index ultimately closing at 148,743 points, still up by 1,900 points.

A day earlier, the market had experienced a steep سقوط, with the index dropping by 4,864 points to close at 146,842 points.

Meanwhile, trading activity remained robust, with over 232.7 million shares exchanged, representing a total value of approximately Rs19.56 billion.

Market analysts attributed the recovery to renewed investor confidence and value buying following the previous day’s heavy losses.
