LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has announced the successful arrival of the first aircraft at the newly developed General Aviation Aerodrome in Muridke.

The milestone landing took place as the test flight travelled from Lahore Airport to the new facility, marking a significant step in expanding general aviation capacity in the region.

According to the PAA, the aircraft’s touchdown at the Muridke aerodrome represents the first-ever landing at the site, underscoring the operational readiness of the facility.

Senior officials congratulated the team led by the Director General of the PAA for achieving the successful test operation.

With the inaugural test flight now completed, the Muridke General Aviation Aerodrome has formally commenced operations. The Director General stated that the aerodrome is set to emerge as an important new centre for general aviation, supporting a growing segment of the country’s aviation activity.
