Gold maintains glitter with price surge
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Gold price in the country once again surged on Friday by Rs2,700 per tola.
After the latest increase in the price, the rate of 24-karat gold touched Rs223,400 against its sale at Rs220,700 a day earlier (Thursday).
According to the All-Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of 10 gram gold was raised by Rs2,315 to Rs191,530 from Rs189,215.
On the other hand, the price of 10 gram 22-karat gold moved upward to Rs175,569 from Rs173,447.
As for the rates of silver, per tola metal cost increased by Rs100 and reached Rs2,650 while 10 gram silver shot up by Rs85.73, touching Rs2,271.94.
The association reported the price of gold moved upward in the international market from $1,965 per ounce to $1,929.
