Tarin assures consultation with FPCCI for budget preparation

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Minister for Finance Shoukat Tarin has assured consultation with all stakeholders in budget preparation process to achieve goals of sustainable development and inclusive growth.
In a virtual meeting with Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, he said that much needs to be done for sustainable and incremental changes in consultation with the business community.
Shaukat Tarin said the growth of economy and fiscal consolidation is achievable in low tax rates, broadening of tax base and bringing in compulsory registration of potential tax payers.
President FPCCI, Mian Nasser Hyatt Maggo, apprised the Minister on issues being faced by the businesses, industries and traders of Pakistan.
