Govt increases petrol price by Rs6 per litre

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The government on Sunday has increased petroleum products prices for the month of April 2019.
According to notification issued on Sunday, petrol price has been increased by Rs6 per litre, whereas the price of High Speed Diesel increased by Rs6.
The prices of kerosene oil and light diesel oil has also been increased by Rs3 and Rs3 respectively.
Earlier on Friday, Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) had recommended the government to increase price of motor spirit (petrol) by Rs11.92 per liter and high speed diesel (HSD) by Rs11.17 per liter for April 2019.
In monthly review for April, the OGRA had also proposed an increase of Rs6.65 per liter in price of kerosene oil and Rs6.50 per liter increase in light diesel oil (LDO) price.
