China shares lower in morning trade

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index dropped 1.05 percent.
SHANGHAI (AFP) - Chinese shares were down in morning trade on Wednesday, following overnight losses in US stocks.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index dropped 1.05 percent, or 35.37 points, to 3,317.59.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China s second exchange, fell 0.51 percent, or 7.83 points, to 1,542.10
