Sharing the video, Maryam Nawaz said it was a slap in the face of arrogant and privileged people who consider the poor inferior and believe that wealth and power place them above the law, allowing them to do whatever they want and escape accountability.

She said that, as Punjab chief minister, she stood with the oppressed, regardless of how powerful those responsible for their suffering might be.

Maryam Nawaz further stated that wealth, influence or political connections could not exempt anyone from being held accountable under the law. Justice, she said, was not the exclusive right of the rich and powerful but a fundamental right of every citizen.

The chief minister stressed that no one was above the law and that no victim should be left alone merely because the person opposing them had money and influence.

She reiterated her commitment to making every possible effort to ensure justice for victims, saying no one would be allowed to escape legal accountability on the strength of money or power.
