Dar appreciated Ambassador Amna Baloch's dedicated service to Pakistan and her leadership as the foreign secretary for two years, during a period of significant diplomatic activity

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Foreign Secretary Ambassador Amna Baloch called on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad on Thursday.

The meeting was held on the occasion of Ambassador Amna Baloch's retirement from the government service today.

During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister appreciated Ambassador Amna Baloch's dedicated service to Pakistan and her leadership as the foreign secretary for two years, during a period of significant diplomatic activity.

He conveyed his best wishes for her continued success in her new role as Pakistan's Ambassador to Türkiye.

Ambassador Amna Baloch thanked the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister for his support and guidance and expressed her appreciation for the opportunity to serve Pakistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ishaq Dar wished Ambassador Amna Baloch every success in her future endeavours and her new assignment.

Meanwhile, Amna Baloch also held a farewell interaction with the Diplomatic Corps in Islamabad.

The participants appreciated foreign secretary's leadership during her tenure and wished her best for her future endeavours.
