ISLAMABAD (APP) - The 9th Session of the Pakistan-Belarus Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC) on Trade and Economic Cooperation would be held here on Wednesday (today), with the two sides set to discuss ways to further strengthen bilateral trade and economic ties.
A 19-member high-level Belarusian delegation, led by Belarusian Minister of Energy Dzianis Maroz, has arrived in Islamabad to participate in the session, according to the Ministry of Commerce.
The technical session of the JMC was held on Tuesday, during which the two sides held discussions on trade, industry, agriculture, banking, labour, transport, information technology and other areas of bilateral cooperation.
Federal Minister for Commerce, Jam Kamal Khan and Belarusian Minister of Energy, Dzianis Maroz would co-chair the ministerial session on Wednesday (today).
The session would include ministerial addresses and bilateral discussions aimed at exploring avenues for expanding cooperation in various fields of mutual interest.
The meeting would conclude with the signing of the JMC Protocol and a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
