ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has commended the security forces for successfully foiling a militant attack on a check post in South Waziristan and praised their professionalism, courage and swift response during the operation.
In a statement, the prime minister lauded the security forces for repelling the attack and killing four militants, describing their timely action as a reflection of their exceptional operational capability.
Shehbaz Sharif said the country's brave personnel had once again thwarted the enemy's designs, reaffirming that Pakistan's security would not be compromised under any circumstances.
He added that the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces and law enforcement agencies in safeguarding the country's peace and stability.
The prime minister further said the government and security forces would continue operations under Operation Azm-e-Istehkam with full resolve until terrorism is completely eliminated from the country.
