KARACHI (Dunya News) - Senior Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon on Tuesday said that the "'Form 47-product" political party is seeking to gain political sympathies in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Reacting to Maryam Nawaz's speech in Muzaffarabad in connection with AJK elections, Sharjeel Memon said that the people of Kashmir had rejected the "fake representation" in the past and would reject it again in the future.
He said that the party, which came into power through a "fake mandate," is trying to present itself as a champion of the rights of the Kashmiri people. He said that a party which deprives the people of its own province of their right to vote has no moral justification to engage in politics over the rights of the people of Kashmir.
He further stated that, just as in Gilgit-Baltistan, their Kashmiri brothers would also reject what the "Form 47-product" political party. He said that millions of people from Punjab come to Sindh for better medical treatment and healthcare facilities.
Sharjeel Memon further said that instead of criticizing others, they should review their own performance. He stated that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) believes in public service, democratic values, constitutional supremacy, and a genuine public mandate.
He further said that the public would continue to reject the politics of a "fake mandate" in every election.
