OKARA (Dunya News) - Police rescued a man attempting suicide along with his three children in Sadar Police jurisdiction here on Saturday.
Police received a distress call on 15 that a man along with his three children was planning to end his life and his three children by jumping in front of a moving train.
Police responded quickly and rushed to the scene and took hold of the man before he jumped in front of the train.
The man identified Ashiq Ali wanted to commit suicide as he was upset over his domestic issues. On the day of the incident, he took his children for suicide when police reached there and stopped him from taking such an extreme step.
In a video it could be seen the accused admitted to suicide planning along with his three children, and thanked law enforcers to rescue him. Further investigation was underway.
