KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police claimed to have arrested seven suspected robbers during encounters in different areas here on Wednesday.
In Gulshan Iqbal, police apprehended two alleged robbers after a shootout with them. They sustained bullet injuries and were admitted to hospital. In Aram Bagh, near CTO Compound, two suspected dacoits were arrested after an encounter with police. One of the accused was injured the encounter.
In Orangi Town, near Sector 6-E, a robber was injured and later arrested after an exchange of fire with police. His accomplice escaped under the cover of darkness. Police were investigating.
Site Super Highway Police arrested two alleged dacoits when they were injured in exchange of fire. A stolen bike, looted valuables and weapons were seized. Further investigation was underway.
