ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - UN Secretary-General candidate Rebeca Grynspan called on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar in Islamabad on Friday.
During the meeting, Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan's unwavering commitment to the purposes and principles of the UN Charter, as well as respect for international law and treaties.
He emphasized the need for the peaceful resolution of disputes through the faithful implementation of UN Security Council resolutions to ensure lasting global peace.

He particularly highlighted the importance of resolving the Jammu and Kashmir dispute and the Palestine issue.
The Deputy Prime Minister also underscored the vital role of the UN system in advancing the global development agenda.
