Interview committees formed for judges' appointments in all four high courts

Chief Justice Yahya Afridi forms 7-member committees to conduct interviews for new judge appointments in Pakistan’s high courts

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Yahya Afridi has formed seven-member interview committees for the appointment of new judges in the country’s four high courts.

According to an official statement, Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi will chair the interview committees for the Lahore High Court and Islamabad High Court, while Justice Aamer Farooq will head the committees for the Sindh High Court and Balochistan High Court.

The committees for the Lahore and Islamabad High Courts include Justice Aalia Neelum, Justice Sarfraz Dogar, Attorney General Mansoor Usman Awan, Farooq Naek, Ali Zafar, and Ahsan Bhoon as members.

The Sindh High Court committee includes Justice Aalia Neelum, Justice Zafar Ahmed Rajput, Attorney General Mansoor Usman Awan, Farooq Naek, Ali Zafar, and Ahsan Bhoon.

The Balochistan High Court committee includes Justice Aalia Neelum, Justice Muhammad Kamran Khan Mulakhail, Attorney General Mansoor Usman Awan, Farooq Naek, Ali Zafar, and Ahsan Bhoon.

According to the statement, the committees will conduct interviews and complete the scrutiny process for candidates seeking appointment as new judges in the respective High Courts.
