ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar received a telephone call from Egypt's Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty on Monday.
During the telephonic conversation, the two leaders discussed the latest developments in the region.
They emphasized the need for sustained diplomatic engagement to promote peace and stability, particularly at this stage.
Both sides also agreed to remain in close contact.

According to the Foreign Office, the two leaders exchanged views on regional developments and agreed to maintain close contact and continue consultations on matters of mutual concern.
During the conversation, Abbas Araghchi expressed concern over what he described as Israeli violations of the ceasefire in Lebanon.

He also voiced serious reservations regarding reported Israeli directives related to potential military actions in parts of Beirut.
The Iranian foreign minister appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in regional diplomacy and requested Islamabad to continue its diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions.
