Sindh Assembly resolution recommends Asim Munir for Nobel Peace Prize, citing role in regional stability and efforts to ease Iran-US tensions.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - A resolution has been submitted in the Sindh Assembly recommending Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for the Nobel Peace Prize.

The resolution was tabled by members of Muttahida Qaumi Movement, stating that Asim Munir has played a significant role in promoting peace and stability in the region.

According to the text, his efforts to help de-escalate tensions between Iran and the United States were also commendable, and it urged that he be nominated for the prestigious award.
