ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has decided to visit China in May, with expectations of further strengthening high-level Pakistan-China engagement.
During the visit, discussions will focus on bilateral relations and economic cooperation, with progress on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects forming a key part of the agenda.
The prime minister will hold important meetings with Chinese leadership and is expected to brief them on the Middle East crisis.

Regional and global developments, including the US-Iran situation, will also be discussed during the talks.
The visit may also lead to progress on investment opportunities and new agreements between the two countries.
Cooperation in industry, agriculture, and the establishment of special economic zones will also be on the agenda.
Both sides are expected to review measures to enhance bilateral trade and accelerate CPEC projects. The Foreign Office has already begun preparations for the visit schedule.
