Ishaq Dar holds phone call with Hakan Fidan on regional peace efforts

Ishaq Dar and Hakan Fidan discussed regional peace, diplomacy, bilateral ties and agreed to maintain close coordination.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan to discuss regional peace efforts and diplomatic developments.

According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, Hakan Fidan was briefed on important progress regarding Pakistan’s diplomatic initiatives. Both sides agreed that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only path to peace in the region.

The spokesperson said Pakistan reaffirmed its commitment to continue playing a diplomatic role for peace and stability.

During the conversation, Ishaq Dar and Hakan Fidan also exchanged views on bilateral matters and emphasized Pakistan’s efforts for regional stability.

The Foreign Office added that both leaders agreed to maintain close contact and further strengthen diplomatic engagement between Pakistan and Türkiye.
