ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with his Egyptian counterpart to discuss the regional situation and progress in ongoing peace efforts.
According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office spokesperson, Ishaq Dar spoke with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty late last night.
During the conversation, both leaders discussed diplomatic efforts underway through mediation and reviewed developments in the peace process. They also exchanged views on negotiations and diplomatic engagement aimed at promoting regional and global peace.
The two sides emphasized the importance of inclusive participation by all stakeholders in the ongoing peace process and diplomatic initiatives.
