LAHORE (Dunya News) – Rain and hail in various areas of Lahore turned the weather pleasant on Tuesday, providing relief from rising temperatures.
Cool winds following the rainfall led to a noticeable drop in temperature across the city. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, areas including Shimla Pahari and its surroundings experienced both rain and hail.
Rainfall measurements showed that Nishtar Town recorded 35mm of rain, while Johar Town received 29.4mm. Jail Road saw 5mm of rainfall, Gulberg 11.4mm, and Pani Wala Talab 2.4mm.
Similarly, Farrukhabad recorded 0.2mm, Gulshan Ravi 2.4mm, Iqbal Town 3mm, Samanabad 4mm, and Saggian 1.4mm of rainfall.
Residents welcomed the change in weather as the showers brought a refreshing break and improved overall conditions in the provincial capital.
