LAHORE (Dunya News) – A constable was shot at and injured while returning home from work on Shahzada Road, Kahna here on Thursday.
The cop identified as Yaseen was ambushed by two armed men from fields. The suspected outlaws escaped after the attack.
On information, Kahna police scrambled to the crime scene and started investigation after sending the policeman to hospital. He got bullet in his leg.
According to Model Town SP, Kahna SHO has formed a police team to track down the two attackers. He said law enforcers were looking at all angles to investigate the assault.
With this rare incident, police have intensified patrol in the area and checking vehicles and motorcycles to have a clue about the fleeing outlaws.
