(Web Desk) - Police in Rawalpindi revealed that they arrested the principal of a private academy for the rape of a Grade 10 student.
According to an FIR, he also forced her to undergo an abortion. The shocking case has drawn widespread condemnation and calls for justice from various quarters.
The victim, a resident of Khayaban-i-Sir Syed in Pirwadhai, lodged an FIR. According to her statement, the principal initially assured her he would help her secure good matriculation grades.
Over time, he manipulated her trust, allegedly luring her into a sexual relationship under the false promise of marriage.
However, when she asked him to approach her parents, he delayed, only to later exploit her trust.
The complainant claimed he repeatedly raped her in his office.
Upon discovering that she was pregnant, he forced her to take medication to terminate the pregnancy.
However, the victim’s ordeal did not end there. She alleged that the principal continued to assault her repeatedly and impregnated her again.
When she insisted on marriage, he refused and subjected her to physical abuse.
Rawalpindi Superintendent of Police (SP) Rawal Arshad stated that swift action was taken to apprehend the suspect.
He promised to present solid evidence in court to secure exemplary punishment.
