Two robbers injured, arrested in Sukkur shootout

SUKKUR (Dunya News) – Police claimed to have arrested two robbers after they were injured in an encounter, whereas their two accomplices escaped in B Section police jurisdiction here on Monday.

Police were on a routine patrol when they met four suspects riding two bikes. Police gave a signal to stop them for checking, they did not comply with the police order and ran away.

The law enforcers chased them. They resorted to firing at police party, who retaliated in a befitting manner and injured two outlaws, whereas their two accomplices fled.

The injured have been admitted to hospital. Two TT-pistols, bullets and other valuables have been seized from them. Police have cordoned off surrounding areas to track down the fleeing outlaws. The injured robbers are involved in cases of snatching, looting, kidnapping and other dozens of criminal cases.
