Five terrorists of banned outfit arrested in Karachi operation

KARACHI (Dunya News) - CTD in a joint operation with other security agencies has arrested five terrorists of Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij, Dunya News reported here on Sunday.

The law-enforcement agencies conducted an intelligence based operation (IBO) in Manghopir and Kashmir Road, near KMC Sports Complex.

The arrested terrorists have been identified as Noorullah and Sarfraz of banned TTP, and Saleem, Jehanzeb and Imdadullah. According to sources, the militants were planning to carry out terror activities in order to disturb peace in Karachi.

Weapons and explosives have been seized from them. Initial investigation has revealed that the outlaws took training from a neighbouring country. Further investigation is underway, with the expectation of more information.
