BEIJING (Dunya News) — European Union Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas spoke over the phone with Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Tuesday, expressing deep sorrow over the recent floods in Pakistan.
Kallas offered condolences for the loss of lives and stood in solidarity with the victims and their families.
She also assured EU support for relief and rehabilitation efforts.
EU announces aid for Pakistan flood victims
Foreign Minister Dar thanked the EU for its concern and solidarity, noting that Pakistan is among the countries hit hardest by climate change.
Both leaders voiced satisfaction over cooperation between Pakistan and the EU in various sectors.
They agreed to further strengthen ties, particularly in tackling climate change and rebuilding damaged infrastructure.
