Stresses again that sparking controversy at this time serves no purpose
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – PTI senior leader Asad Qaiser has clarified that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s recent statement on the Kalabagh dam is his personal opinion and not the party’s policy.
In a statement from Peshawar, Qaiser said: “We don’t see any need for the Kalabagh Dam at this stage. Raising such controversial issues unnecessarily is not good.”
He added that smaller dams can be built instead, pointing to the Chashma Right Bank Canal project in Gandapur’s own area, which he said could meet local water needs.
