ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - A journal of American Central Command (Centcom) has praised the resolve of Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) Syed Asim Munir to eliminate extremism.
The journal acknowledged the professional as well as leadership role of the COAS.
The Centcom journal said the COAS would be remembered as a leader whose main purpose is to work for the security and stability of Pakistan.
Appreciating his efforts to eradicate the evil of terrorism, the article said wide-range operations were launched against extremists – including massive IBOs – which eliminated 398 terrorists.
Mentioning the readiness of the country's armed forces to defend the nation against any foreign attack, the journal mentioned Pakistan successfully responded by hitting the targets of Iran when the latter attacked unprovoked.
The journal also highlighted the role of COAS Munir to further strengthen the military as well as diplomatic ties with United States.
